Belgian Beer Week, The Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto
I provided professional event photography in Toronto for Belgian Beer Week at The Westin Harbour Castle, an annual celebration of Belgium’s rich brewing heritage. Belgium is home to over 1,600 distinct beer styles, many crafted by centuries-old breweries and recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. This event brought that tradition to Toronto’s waterfront through tastings, presentations, and interactive experiences.
Throughout the festival, I documented the full experience, from award-winning beers and their distinctive labels to presentations by Belgian brewers and sellers, and the key tasting moments as guests explored unique styles from Trappist ales to farmhouse saisons. My photography captured both the atmosphere and craftsmanship: the vibrant colours and textures of each pour, the interactions between exhibitors and attendees, and the celebratory moments surrounding featured beers. Professional photography ensures that events like Belgian Beer Week are visually documented for marketing, social media, press coverage, and promotional use, creating a compelling visual story that highlights the richness, culture, and character of Belgian brewing in Toronto.
